In addition to the above thoughts, if you are curious to see what "may" be happening regarding a neighbor's network and possible interference. I use a free android app called "wifi analyzer" (maybe available on apple, or similar?)
The image below shows my 2.4 Ghz network (redrumnet) - signal strength and channels occupied, along with my neighbor's "Tate" (lower in signal strength, and different channels). My neighbor to the other side is not detected. So, mine is obviously very clean and I would not expect any issue with interference, but if you had allot of other networks at close to the same signal strength, occupying some/all of the channels your network does, then what Robb and Paul mention might be a factor. Obviously, use the app where the radio is stationed. Not saying this is any kind of solution, but it helps determine if interference could be a contributor. 36368 Jim +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: Screenshot_20211207-151054.png | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=36368| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Redrum's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115533 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
