The Radio plugin is an interface to the Tune-in service which is a
commercial service and not something run by Logitech. It is fully
maintained but Tune-in may be losing out to other directory sites. The
content on a internet directory is driven by commercial reason(i.e. ad
revenues) and some degree of exclusivity (i.e.some stations may only
appear on one directory/aggregator site).

For French station why not add the 3rd party RadioFrance plugin.

Another alternative, you could install the 3rd party Radio.net plugin
and then do a select country "France" or whatever Francophone country
(e.g. Algeria) . If you want to choose at random - change Radio.net
settings to French and the offered selection has a slightly more French
mix.
