What type of files are you trying to stream? mp3, flac, itunes?
Try plugging the squeezebox directly into your router and see if that
solves the problem. Not a 'fix', but it either confirms if it is the
wireless network which is causing the problem or not.
Also, make sure you have finished scanning your library before playing
any music as this can be very processor intensive and cause choppy
playback in the current server design. (you can tell by looking at the
webinterface where instead of telling you how many songs are in your
library it tells you slimserver is still scanning)
