I am browsing by files, not sql at this stage, as I can't get access to
the SQL file on the readyNAS side of things (have requested over there
that they offer that and they seem to be amenable to the idea).
Ahh, not tried that for a while.. Hope it's not too broken.. :-|
First found a bug - I can't add a José González album via the moose
interface but can via the slim web interface & squeezebox. However
once I do so, it then appears fine on the Moose interface. I suspect
this is a funny chars in file names issue, let me know what I can do to
help you solve it.
Hmm.. I'll give this a go.. What's the exact folder structure of the album ?
A display somewhere of the current replaygain value would be great too,
help diagnose those tracks missing info issues that crop up
occasionally.
Indeed - good idea.. Is there access to this via the CLI ?
I really miss the New Music display from slimserver.
Sorting the library by date is pretty much the same.. Just uses the modified
timestamps on the folders..
I do think a combined library/now playing list single screen approach
might work, or at least separate task bar entries for each window would
really aid swapping between them.
Ahh, I turned off the library task-bar-icon as I thought it was a bit confusing
having 2 icons.. I'll put it back - might make more sense now they look more
similar..

Yes.. I think this is a 6.5 issue.. A workaround (although I'll probably get this
fixed today) would be to copy your thumbnails locally.. If you create a folder
structure of artist/album in the thumbnail directory, and copy in your cover.jpg
or folder.jpg files, it'll pick those up as cached..

Yes, I need to reduce the traffic a bit.. If reading the SQL, most of the
requested info is already present, so in theory all I need are the IDs... Of
course with folder reading it'll still need the info.. Hmmm..

No worries.. Feedback's always good.. :-)
