Short question: Is there a guide somewhere to remotely turning on a receiver or amplifier?
Detail: I'm setting up a Squeezebox in the nursery. I have an early March deadline. I would like to keep the resulting system as simple as possible, since my wife and/or I will be regularly stumbling in there at 3am*. I have access to the back of the relevant walls, and the first-generation Squeezebox will be fed with a wired connection. Best outcome would be in-wall speakers and a small stereo amplifier triggered when the Squeezebox is turned on.
