Just plugged in the new SB with the (short) cable delivered directly to the router, the SB was asking for a firmware update (from 26 to 28) and now it is running.
BUT!!! The old ethernet cable (around 10 meters) was fine and it's more than a big problem to change it. That means, I can't change the ethernet cable! I already told that the old SB was running fine.
