That should work, especially with your firewall off. Is there any way to make sure your PSP has not accidentally associated with a neighbour's wireless network? There are lots of them out there and many are unencrypted, which would allow your PSP to connect without you being aware of it. If your PSP is trying to access it from your neighbour's wireless network, you really should get it back on your network or follow the port forwarding instructions. But it will be easier and much safer to make sure your PSP stays on your network.
Also I don't know much about the PSP web browser but I'm wondering if it's having trouble displaying SlimServer's frames and images. Try switching to the Handheld skin in SlimServer Server Settings - Interface. Does the PSP allow any sort of file sharing, and if so, can you see the files on the SlimServer PC? profichiller wrote: > I know that I have to use the Server's IP Adress instead of "localhost". > For me it's "http://192.168.116.23:9000" ! > I know the adress by double clicking on my network connection and it's > presented in the router interface. > When i use another computer as a client, it's no problem to use the > WebInterface, but when I do the same with the PSP Browser I just get a > "time out"! > > > I don't know why! > > -- ___________________________________ Mark Lanctot ___________________________________ __________________________________________________________ Find your next car at http://autos.yahoo.ca _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
