I upgraded to SlimServer 6.2.1 a while ago. I forget the exact language, but some instruction stated that squeezeboxes might possibly need to be flashed with updated firmware.
I have two recently aquired squeezebox I models which I purchased used that were working fine at the time -- One wireless version and the other wired. Even though I had no message informing me that I needed to reflash them, not knowing their age or history, I figured "What the Hell" and reflashed them anyway. Since the reflash, the wired one works great, but the wireless version doesn't produce any sound. It connects to the slimserver fine, you can control everything as if it's working, but there's no sound from the outputs. Previously when it had been working, I only used the RCA outputs. Since I've had this problem, I've tried both the RCA and coax digital outputs with no success. (though... I had never tried any digital outputs before.) Any suggestions? Anyway I can try a different -- perhaps older flash -- that still should be compatable with 6.2.1?
