yeah, really weird. I thought maybe the schema was corrupted somehow, and am rebuilding a virgin empty mysql database as we are writing this. sorry, no go on downgrading mysql here - three other apps are dependent on the installation being 5.x

I have seen a couple of posts elsewhere about issues running Slimserver on MySQL 5 - is it possible to try it on MySQL 4.1? Cheers, Browny
