Just curious - I know Radio Paradise and others take donations. Radioio plays on the Squeezebox with no commercials, and seemingly high-quality sound. They have a premium service on their website, but I don't know what it gets you. I almost feel like I'm stealing, since I really like a couple of their streams and listen to them a lot. Not that I'm complaining or anything. :-)
