Scanning fwd/rev, of course, only works with native formats (mp3, wav, flac, wma for sb3). As an alternative to the fwd/rew buttons, you may want to try the song scanner plugin. you can navigate to that, and then you are presented with a bar graphic representing the entire song time. Use the arrow buttons to move to the time index you wish to have then press play. The song will begin playing at that point in time. if you want a single-button jump into the pugin, create a Custom.map file and save it to the IR folder under your slimserver installation. In it, put the following:
[common] fwd.hold = menu_PLUGIN.Scanner Then go into palyer settings->remote, and choose the custom.map remote file. This will override the press and hold FWD for that player. NOTE: when rewinding, you do NOT have to go through every speed to get back to normal. just press PLAY to play at that point, or pause to hold at that point.
