In the scan you posted before, it looks like you had protocol and http turned on.
That's a good place to start, assuming the skips happen again. But also watch and see if there is any other activity happening around the time of the skip, and turn on appropriate loggers for that too. And try the network health page, see if it tells you anything about what's going wrong.
