It sounds like you are not getting a proper connection to the wireless network or a proper DHCP address.
Beware, it can fail the wireless security checks and still get to the looking for slimserver bit - so don't be fooled. Check that the DCHP address the SB3 is being allocated is within your DHCP address range.
