Im using 6.2.2 and have noticed for the last few days that my song list is growing and growing and growing.
For each album I now have three copies of each song. I've looked through the archives here and it seems like this is a very common problem. Many users are finding that some plugins might be to blame but the only plugins I have are alienbbc, xm radio, and publicradiofan (all internet radio plugins that shouldn't touch my personal music). The only thing that I seem to have in common with other people who have this problem is that I use slimserver in conjunction with itunes. I have dumped and rescanned the library. I have dumped the cache and rescanned. I have let it rescan on its own for a couple days. I have tried every rescan I can think of. Still, three of every song. This seems to be too common of a bug to let it continue for so many people but I still haven't seen a good fix for it nor do I understand what is happening.
