Just quickly before bedtime ... I have the DG834G router with the latest firmware (V3.01.29) and using WPA-PSK (Wi-Fi Protected Access Pre-Shared Key) security on a 'G' protocol.
I am running Slimserver 6.2.2 with v35 firmware. The zip file downloads and works fine for me. In my 6.2.2 build I had to add it the plugins folder as it didn't ship with it. Using the plugin, I could stream at 2,000kbps at 100%/100%. Anything above that is a bit dicey. My router has to go through a TV, two solid internal walls (cinder block), a double radiator, and a kitchen cupboard before getting to the Squeezebox :-). Router is about 14 meters from the Squeezebox.
