OK, one more day on but still no music. To recap. I have easily transferred 100gb of music onto my TS101-400. I can see the files. WM Player on my PC can see and play all the files.
The Squeezebox can see all the files, artists, tracknames etc but will not receive any actual stream. It goes through each track for the tracktime and then moves onto the next one. The Squeezebox functions perfectly with the same files located on my PC. The server status says no stream is connected. I thought this was a firewall issue so spent a day trying to make sure port 9000 went through the firewall but this had no impact. Today, I picked up a crossover cable, set static IP's and connected the Squeezebox directly to the TS-101 to eliminate the network and firewall. But, still no change. The SB can see the files, tracknames etc etc but no stream is sent. Thoughts: 1) Does the Slimserver on the TS101 support WM lossless? Certainly the one on my PC does. 2) Has the process of copying them altered the files in some way. 3) Is then TS101 rescan working properly. Any help or thoughts really appreciated, I think I am starting to go slightly mad.
