Sorry, I should not have mentioned rescanning my music files. It was a Red Herring. No I needed to restart SlimServer to pick up some newly installed plugins. Due to change of physical location I did not have physical access (or even Remote Desktop access) to my SS PC.... so I opened up the web interface from another PC to restart SS. Hope that's clear. Sorry for the confusion.
