Fair enough, but I disabled the torrents, switched the web interface to 'Light', disabled every other service on the QNAP (web/ftp etc), and gave it a test, and I reckon performance only slightly improved - the web interface is near unusable (20 odd secs to load up the SlimServer home is just too long, and 4-5 seconds for every other click, e.g. Browse Artists). The remote control is really laggy when even doing things like pausing and playing, or even power on/off.
