I looked at the logs from the wan/adsl port but it did not give any real clues. The user logs did show the wireless device dropping out every few seconds.
at the moment I have an old trusty vigor2600 (to give the DSL) and my 2800vg connected to the lan acting a wireless access point. All is working reliably - but I do get into trouble and strife for 'gadget clutter' and I can't help thinking gbp180 for the 2800vg makes it an expensive wireless access point !!
