I agree with you Mark. I'm still running 6.2.1 with no nightly updates. It is very confusing, especially for those of us that are not MIT computer wizs and just want to have a nice SB listening experience and don't have time to do all the nightly downloads ( and are never sure what they may do or accomplish).
I for one, on any product, never do a software/firmware update until the new version has been out for a couple weeks at least. Past experience with other products has proved to me that immediately downloading an update at release most likely will cause more problems. I'm not coming down on anyone at SD, just my past experience. I would just like a product, that after initial setup, I can power up and use, not something I continually have to make changes too.
