There are two kinds of support in this world, the kind you pay for and the kind you don't. The support he paid for (from SD) was excellent, looks like they got him right back up and running. They offered to call him, or email him, or whatever he wanted. I see nothing other than sheer professionalism from the offical SD folks on this thread. Above and beyond anything I get in a professional environment for products costing hundreds of times more. The free support, on the other hand, well that you have to play a little differently. If you expect other people to help you out of the goodness of their hearts (and by posting on a forum that's EXACTLY what you're asking for) then you have to be prepared to be nice, polite and to TRY WHAT PEOPLE SUGGEST. If you want to be rude, arrogant and vent, and choose to do so in public, then you deserve what you get. This forum is not a service, it's not a right, it's a COMMUNITY. Play by the rules and act nice, and you'll be rewarded in many ways with insight and excellent advice. If you want to play tough guy and throw your toys out of the crib, well that's what call centers are for. They're paid to put up with you. -- radish ------------------------------------------------------------------------ radish's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=77 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=23389 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
