I've seen a fair number of people reporting this issue with 6.2.2 and firmware 48.
If you're seeing this, tell me if you have in your Slimserver player settings 'Fade in and out'. Does the problem go away if you switch that back to 'none'? There is definitely a bug there that someone pointed out to me. I'm trying to figure out if there are more bugs causing the same symptom, or just that one.
