The wireless router won't do anything - it doesn't install any software
on your PC.  It's their media player software that may be doing
something.

However you may be getting warmer by mentioning Musicmatch - I believe
SS has a plugin for it and may be looking for it.  You indicate you
don't use it very often - maybe there are obsolete links in the
playlists Musicmatch has generated.
