CDex is another alternative. Note that whatever route you take, you'll
be using the FLAC codec, so as long as your ripper manages to read the
CD the sound quality will not vary. EAC and CDex both try pretty hard
to read moderately scratched/damaged CDs so can to a better job than
other rippers in some cases. The accuracy of the tags is not dependent
on the ripper you use, but the accuracy of the data in the freedb.
