aww, rats. In the one place I was able to get the aac+ to work on my linux system (VLC), the stream sounded fantastic (until I upgraded VLC, but that's another story).
At least I know that I can listen to a decent quality stream of The Current on my squeezeboxen now that they have adopted a 128K MP3 stream.
