The slim database contains information for slims primary purpose as a music streamer ... that is, what format is the music in, what encoding, what bitrate, all stuff that you as a collector of music don't care about and wouldn't keep in your own database. It also contains some overlapping material - primarily so it knows what to show you on the screen while it's playing your song. It isn't meant to be a replacement for a music database, and it shouldn't be misconstrued as such. -- Michaelwagner ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Michaelwagner's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=428 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24093 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
