Part 1/2 I'm using slimserver 6.3 and have also performance problems. My scan is also very slow. It needs more than an hour to scan nearly 600 Albums (=5700 Songs).
An extract of my logfile for 1 Album is shown at the end of this message. You can see there, that it need 10 seconds for 12 somgs. This means that the server needs 80 Minutes for a whole rescan.
