The log looks pretty standard to me, other than the time taken to rescan. My library is about 3600 songs (in a mix of mp3, flac and ogg) and rescans in about 12-15 minutes.
Could you tell us a bit about your setup ? In particular, your music looks like it is on a network drive rather than on the same box as Slimserver ? Could there be any slowdown there ? What are the specs of the box running Slimserver ?
