SqueezeNetwork freezeups cannot be addressed locally. There really isn't too much you can do - SqueezeNetwork is out there on the Internet as is the content you're playing. There can be a lot of bottlenecks between your Squeezebox and all that, and unfortunately there isn't much you can do about it.
You may want to post something in the SqueezeNetwork forum.
