Azinck3, you might be right about multizone issue, digital content is much easier to distribute and there is no degradation in quality over distance. Running speaker/s-video wires it's indeed a pain and if they are of decent quality it might cost so much it's OK buy just another source/sources instead.
I still don't know cost-wise what is cheaper - 1 high quality multizone amp like Denon 5805 with 4 zones or 4 decent single zone amps. When I bought my Onkyo/Integra DTR-7.4 with second zone couple of years ago I thought about one box solution. I am not sure if I do the same now - it's a good quality amp and I like it but may be now after those second zone issues (BTW there is no digital signal to Zone 2) I would consider two separate amp. -- sl789 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sl789's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5667 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24620 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
