I doubt that any of the AACplus changes would have the effect that you describe so I would look at 6.3 first. There has been a few threads about 6.3 problmes and compilation albums.
I suggest do an uninstall and a clean install of 6.3 and then do a full rescan. If 6.3 still gives you problem then start a new thread as users won't read an AACplus thread to solve 6.3 problems. You should save the files you changed: types.conf, convert.conf and strings.txt files and copy them back once you are sure 6.3 is working to save editing and also to prove whether they caused the problem or not.
