I sent this earlier via the email gateway, in reponse to yoru post with the error message. For some reason, it is delayed, so I'll repost through the forum:
Do you have any upnp devices/services on your network? Can you temporarily turn off upnp for those? alternatively, try running the server from a command prompt: c:\program files\slimserver\server\slim.exe --noupnp That should avoid the problem and let you at least connect. I'll have to leave a real solution for Andy.
