I am finding that I am using squeezenetwork much more than I thought I originally might. I enjoy the very focused stations one can find from Live365.
However, it is sort of like "teasing" to know that MP3PRO is there and available, but SS/Squeezenetwork will not use it. I checked the FAQs, and Slimdevices says, in essence, "just say no" to MP3PRO. They suggest just not using it. That's fine for my own files, but doesn't apply in the same way to internet streaming stations. I have no control over internet radio stations, and many of them do use it. It would be very nice to be able to benefit from the higher quality audio. Isn't internet radio an expressly intended use for the SB3 product? I wonder if MP3Pro decoding could be provided in the future? I am enjoying our SB3. Thank you for a very fine product.
