I think the Apple speakers, the Ipod Hi-Fi, is a brilliant, low-cost solution with pretty good sound quality. I am an audiophile with McIntosh labs equipment, but needed something portable for a summer house. These worked perfectly, providing inputs from any source and also connecting directly to the Ipod. It can be battery powered, if you want to take it on the go, and comes with a simple remote...

I'm thinking about buying a set of powered speakers for output from an
SB3.
At the moment the output is fed through an old boombox, which works OK,
but is a bit cumbersome and unsightly.

This SB3 is located in a wooden summerhouse at the bottom of the garden
so I don't want anything too 'flashy/metallic' looking.
Something in a nice wood finish would be ideal.

Anyone here using a similar setup?? and could make a recomendation??

Oh, and I'm in the UK ;-)
