Quite a bit of discussion since I left town for the weekend...some responses... on upgrading to 6.5: yes, do it. IMHO, it's in pretty good shape. The Nokia770 skin is much better than it was circa May as well. on not putting text below artwork: thanks for the input. I'm inclined to go with this advice for now, esp. since I don't have to do anything to acheive that goal! Still think the interface is a little lacking here, but can't really think of an elegant solution. One big issue to me is the "?" icons that come up for about 30% of my music that don't have artwork. that stinks and needs to get better. Look for some changes in slimserver 7.0. on the 1-by-1 artwork getting server-resized: I hadn't really considered it. Thanks for the description on how it's done--now that I know, it should be easy to add. I'm always in favor of doing things that result in performance increases. on turning off library stats and seeing 0,0,0 in the lower left: whoops! I fixed that a week or two ago, but only checked it into trunk and not 6.5. I just checked it into 6.5 as a bugfix. on the long strings in the select menu: glad you like my partial fix, as that's the way it's going to stay for a while.
