I have had to reload 6.5 once already when I changed skins on the Browser and it became unusable. The scanner appears to abort part way through the database build and has missed many of my artist/albums. This is quite scary because 6.5 is a major release and clearly it has not been properly checked before release.
The problem is that once you upgrade you can't go back to the previous version very easily (if at all). Don't get me wrong I am a very strong advocate of this technology it is absolutely top drawer stuff and I would not for a minute slate it, but clearly this release has flaws that have gotten through the release process. Am I right in thinking that the Database has been updated in this release? This is quite serious for Slim Devices for a new novice user getting their first experience of the technology and lots of the functionality (some of it very basic) not working may put them off which spreads quickly. This must be resolved fast.
