I have just checked my router firmware and it appears that for some reason it was -7 gmt rather than +7gmt. My girlfriend took it into the store for repair last week. I corrected the time and it works okay now (well for the past 5 mins) I will keep testing and let you know how I got on. Thanks. Good idea about the syncing!
