Just to add a "me too" to this. The problems also happen on a large proportion of my MP3s and started after upgrading to the latest 6.5.1. I have tried turning off all 3rd party plugins & restarting, but this made no difference.
I don't think anyone has mentioned the bug for this yet. It is logged as: http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=4312 Four people (including me) have so far added their experiences of this problem to the bug info. I'd suggest anyone else affected updates and/or votes for it.
