I am afraid I have just downloaded 6.3.1 to reinstall. Having checked the tagging issue with Musicmatch, Winamp, Windows Media and iTunes (where they all show tagged correctly) and 6.3.1 I drew the conclusion that 6.5 has introduced a bug that was not there.
I tried today to download, remove (from Windows uninstall) and delete the directory and pluggins and reinstall - and the problem remained. If you haven't yet upgrade all I can say is do so with care. I to would prefer the stable release rather than being a tester.
