There seems to be quite a lot of negativity floating around here towards logitech. My take? It's only been a few days - give it a chance!
FWIW I don't think Logitech will be bad for slim. As others have pointed out, they acquired harmony a while ago and those products just keep getting stronger (I have an 885 myself and it's probably the best sub-$500 remote I've used). They also do a very nice line in silly money keyboards and mice, as well as the bread and butter $10 units we all know, so they're no strangers to the higher end of the markets they play in. An "Audiophile" brand they're not - yet. With the transporter, they may break into that world.
