Hi I am awaiting the arrival of my new sqeezebox so I thought I would download the Slimserver software so I'm ready to go when the squeezebox arrives.
Problem is that I can't get the Slimserver to work at all! I have it installed on my laptop and on my desktop PC. When I try to start it I get the little balloon which says 'slimserver starting'. Thats all it does, it never starts! I have this problem on both my laptop and my desktop (which was going to doing slimserver duties) Both machines running Windows XP, desktop machine is bang up to date with all Windows updates, firewall switched off. I have an ADSL broadband connection through a Vigor router. Any suggestions guys?
