Still, it seems that there's an awful lot of forum posts with comments about SlimServer serving up pages slowly where the user is running OS X. I'm using a relatively fast Windows machine (2.8 GHz P4 with 512 MB RAM) and my only other experiment has been with a much slower 1.2 GHz AMD Duron with 256 MB RAM on Ubuntu Linux, but in both cases, page generation is just about instantaneous for all intents and purposes. Even album art image generation is very fast. -- Mark Lanctot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=30145 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
