I found that a couple of Albums have not made it into the SS database. I can find them with the browse files option. But searching does not work. This was the case in SS6.2 and SS6.5 for exactly the same albums.
I retagged them and rescanned - no cigar. Rescanned the whole database (numerous times) - still nothing. I got the toad out to look at the mysql tables and indeed nothing there, the albums and tracks are missing. It is all a bit weird. Other albums by the same artist have been scanned alright. There are no unusual characters in the file names.
