If pasting into the file using iTunes, filenames don't matter. And Randy is pasting.
Randy, are you sure iTunes isn't picking up some of its artwork from the iTunes store? If so, that artwork isn't automatically included inside the music files and therefore also not available to Slimserver. Test this... Select some of the offending tracks in iTunes that are using the same image. Right-click in the image preview in the bottom left of the iTunes window. Select COPY. Now Get Info on the tracks. Click in the Album Art box on the right of the Info window. Press CTRL-V to paste the image. Press OK. Since you're using 6.5.1 you *may* have to do a clear and rescan to pick up the artwork. Try a simply update scan first. The other (more painful) issue might be that the tag structure in the files are messed up. If that's the case you can use a tool to strip/eliminate all tags and then re-add them from scratch using iTunes. -- MelonMonkey Bruno *'Twisted Melon - Fine Mac OS Software' (http://twistedmelon.com) | 'mira - Personal Control for your Apple Remote' (http://twistedmelon.com)* ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MelonMonkey's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8466 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=30558 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
