I am using 6.5.1 I should mention that I do not keep files grouped by album in my directory structure, though -- I understand that this may make a difference. My directory structure is:
root / artist / album / filename.flac So if I have a compilation album, its files are spread across multiple directories. From what I've read on here, this difference may explain why I am not seeing my expected behavior when listing albums. There were some significant changes made to compilation handling to fix sorting and pagebar issues in browse Albums. I'm not seeing the situation that you're talking about... In browse Albums, albums never show up more than once. Even when "List compilation albums under each artist" is set, all my compilations are still sorted to the spot where "Various Artists" would appear alphabetically.
