Still no go. I re-insatlled again amd rescanned the DB, no problem.

There's a whole directory w/ sub-directory structure and I can't tell
which I'm supposed to delete and which I'm not. The rapidly jumping
tracks and no playback is evident again.

Too much hassle, I'll just revert to 6.5.0 and tray again after the
next upgrade.
