It depends which is broken. My router dies periodically. Rebooting the SB won't fix it.
(Though in my case, the local network, including wireless, is still fine... it usually dies in such a way as to make getting off the local network a problem... though, oddly I can still SSH in, can still run VNC over an SSH tunnel... but loading a web page is flaky.) Sadly, at the price of routers, most manufacturers don't seem interested in fixing bugs. "Just buy a new one, it has new firmware" is easier than maintaining the code for a router they sold a year ago and subsequently "upgraded" out of existence. -- snarlydwarf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ snarlydwarf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1179 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32869 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
