Has anyone managed to stream FLAC to their players from a "live" source like a sound card audio input? I've currently got DarkIce and Icecast set up to stream what's on my stereo to my Squeezeboxes as 320k CBR MP3, but I'd rather use FLAC.
Ripping to FLAC files and then playing those files is *not* what I want to do. I want to stream FLAC without writing any FLAC to the music folder. Do Slimserver and the Squeezebox support FLAC streams (Ogg FLAC)? How could/should I set this up?
