On the SB2/3, you can also try reprogramming Xilinx: unplug, press and hold "1", plug it back in. Reprogramming the Xilinx chip addresses most sound-related crashes. By contrast, a factory reset (press and hold ADD) addresses many set-up issues. I think a factory reset reprograms Xilinx as well. On the SB2/3, the Xilinx controls most of the sound functions. Unfortunately the SliMP3 and the Squeezebox 1 are not like this, they have a hardwired decoder that can't be reprogrammed on-the-fly like that. -- Mark Lanctot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33768 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
