I think you should open a bug on this at bugs.slimdevices.com. It' be great if they'd add the code for http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=4664 at the same time, but I think this would probably be considered a showstopper bug for the official release of 6.5.2 since WOL seems to be an expected feature.
